  Chapter One

  They really should paint the ceiling.

  That was Simon’s first major, mental face-slapping clue that he’d finally slipped past the point of no return and was done.

  “Because I’m sick of this shit. I told you last time you planned one of these weekends that it was the last time, because I didn’t want to do this anymore.”
